Reset – The act of setting again

Have you ever had one of those days where you woke up feeling different? I have, in fact I had one this morning. After a much needed relaxing weekend with Amy I woke up this morning refreshed and energized. As i was laying in bed this morning I started thinking about how I was 28 and would be married this time next year. I then started thinking about all of my future goals and dreams. Something then occurred to me; in all of those images I wasn’t fat. But wait a second, I am fat. Well I certainly wasn’t making that happen in my current slump was I? Reinvigorated and ready to knock this beast off my back I start fresh again today.

I got up, made my Myoplex shake, and went into work. On the way to work I decided to change things up some, I skipped coffee, not a big deal, just small steps. Trying to save money and seeing if I can kick the habit … a few needless calories gone.

Ate great all day but with an afternoon headache I had some coffee, once a day is better that twice. Ya gotta start somewhere right?

I was then ready to kick some ass at the gym, but alas work interfered with those plans. I had to stay late when some support issues came up. But determined to stay on track I got home late and ate a great omelette and watched a dateline special about Al Roker and “The Thin Man”. While I’m not running out to do anything unnecessary at this junction, I am ready to get this fitness party started. I updated my timeline one more time with my latest numbers and hurdles.

Ready to have a kick ass workout in the morning I’m now off to bed. See ya soon.
