Halfway Through The Challenge
I’m finishing out week 6 tomorrow but today is my last workout day, tomorrow is my free-day. It pretty amazing to think that I’ve been doing this for 6 complete weeks now, half of my challenge is complete. I feel great and can’t believe the changes I’ve so far. I’ve lost a bunch of weight, I feel stronger, I definitely have better endurance, and I have oodles of energy. People at work as well as family have noticed physical changes in me as well. I don’t always see them as well as everyone else since I look at myself in the mirror every day, but they’re evidently visible.
I had some amazing workouts this week. I’ve really been pushing myself in each exercise to feel the muscle and focus on each repetition. This morning we attended a spin class which was good as well. I didn’t like the instructor as much as other ones but the workout was good. I really can’t stand instructors that don’t do the routine with you while your doing it. When they just tell you what to do and then watch it gets annoying and trust me, yelling in the microphone doesn’t help either. Anyhow sorry, I digress.
My meals were for the most part on track this week. I was sick on one day this week so I didn’t eat that well and then yesterday they had a release party at work with all kinds of stuff. I ate some, not a lot and I didn’t overindulge but I did partake and it wasn’t BFL food that’s for sure. I don’t think it will kill me but I also realize that I may not hit my goals for the week on the scale but that’s not important. What’s important is that I stay focused and keep my long term goals in sight. This is about a life style change, not one day on the scale.
