Working To Optimize My Losses
I’m well into week 7 of my challenge. I’ve got some good goals for the week and I’m well on my way to attaining them. I’ve ate well thus far and I hit all of my morning workouts. I’ve really been pushing myself to reach those 10’s. This morning I had a decent lower body workout. I hit 9’s and 10’s on everything but I need to up my weight across the board next time. I’m getting tired in my squats and lunges but not an “I can’t lift any more” tired, more of a “damn I’m breathing hard” tired. I’m going to try and pause more between reps to a count of 2 or 3. I know it will likely lengthen my workouts but I need proper form more than I need to hit some artificial clock time.
I noticed a small issue cropping up this past week that I nipped in the bud, at least I hope so anyhow. I was getting a little lax on a few of my meals. Nothing huge but after I read the latest Dr. Hussman support update from January 11th (not yet posted on his site), I was inspired to nip it in the bud. I still saw progress last week, and that week really wasn’t bad so don’t get your panties in a knot. It’s not like I fell off or anything. I just see how I wasn’t optimizing my losses, instead I was just letting it happen while I sat back and watched. The bar of success was slowly lowering where it should have been holding steady. Well we can’t have that now can we? So it’s back to being sharp and focused. I know life sneaks in sometimes and throws a few curve balls. Well this time I caught it and I’m throwing back a knuckle ball. 7 solid weeks is a huge basis to launch my lifestyle assault. I still have lots of goals on the horizon that I’ve yet to reach, but I will, I will.
