Feeling Sick And Working Out

I’m not feeling very good today and I missed my workout this morning. I work up this morning with my head pounding and my throat hurting. I decided to not work out this morning in case I was getting really sick.

Ever since we’ve been home from the hospital with Bradley it seems like everyone in the family, except for mom and baby, have been sick. Our nephew, grandmother, my daughter, and now me have all been hit by something. The last few nights my daughter has been having trouble sleeping because of coughing and a runny nose and mow it seems like my body is fighting the same thing.

If I feel well enough later I might take the dogs out for a walk. I don’t want to do anything too hard on my body but I also feel like I need to do something to get my heart rate up.

I’m trying to not let my goal on Wednesday eat at me but it’s definitely looming in the back of my mind. I’m sure some of you would say to just take it easy but my goal is so close.

All I can do is eat really well and listen to my body as I go. If it says no then I won’t but otherwise I’m going to keep on pushing.

Small aside, I’m planning to do my first giveaway this week starting tomorrow morning. Check back then if your interested!

yes! listen to your body. I used to push through workouts when I was sick. And it did me absolutely NO good and I end up worse than when I started the workout.

Now, when I am sick, I even take off from exercise 2 days or so after I start feeling better. I totally let my body recover. That’s what works for me. :)

I wish your whole family wellness!
