Weighing In And Taking Inventory

Another Friday and another day of weighing in and taking account of the good and bad things I did this week. All in all it was a really solid week of effort. While my eating wasn’t perfect because we ate out a few times I still made sensible choices when we did. Nothing crazy, nothing bad, and certainly no soda or sweets to speak of.

As for my workouts, it was a solid week of workouts and I got some much needed saddle time in:

  • Saturday — Off Day (two weeks in a row, what gives)
  • Sunday — 60 min, Cycling Trainer
  • Monday — 45 min, Cycling Trainer
  • Tuesday — 45 min, Cycling Trainer
  • Wednesday — 30 min, Weight Lifting & 20 min, Elliptical
  • Thursday — 30 min, Cycling Trainer
  • Friday — 15 min, Running & 20 min, Elliptial & 20 min, Precor AMT

Scale Picture at 278.4I managed a week of solid efforts and lots of sweating with all morning workouts except for Thursday which was in the evening. So now let’s see how the weight faired:

Previous Weight — 281.4 lbs (on 02.03.2012)
Current Weight — 278.4 lbs
Change In Weight-3.0 lbs

I’m very excited to finally be in 270′s again. I’m slowly working down to my low again and hope to be the in a few months.

Some of my new workout clothes that had been starting to get a bit tight are loosening up again. There’s nothing worse than buying new clothes because you lost weight only to not fit in them anymore because you gained.

I’m still on the fence about signing up for a triathlon this season. NOT because I don’t won’t to, just because of the practical timing of most of them being around the time our new baby is due or late in the summer when I might be traveling again. It just makes sense to focus on cycling and maybe signup for a bike race/ride when I find one that fits.

    Congrats on the loss, Sean! If you want a duathlon, I know there is one up here this summer, but it might be around baby-time, too.
